Last week, the Grade 5’s started learning about Puberty. Puberty is when your body goes through a series of changes as you transition from Childhood to Adulthood. Boys and girls go through different changes, but some of the similarities are growth spurt, change in voice, and hair growth in pubic and underarm areas. We also go through hormonal changes, which causes some changes in emotions, too. We get pretty moody and/or crabby. Worst of all, we get pimples. I say worst because it makes your face look ugly. I think it’s important that we start learning about Puberty now, because a lot of people start going through Puberty around this age.
My question: Why do we get pimples?
